    TUV Rheinland OpenSky is seeking a lead, on-site engineer and level-2/3 operational support for a NYC-based non-profit with a Cisco-based router/LAN switch/firewall network.  Our client is a Non-profit is headquartered on the upper east side with several other Manhattan locations and space in two NY-Metro colo facilities.




    • Provide design and operational support of Cisco IOS LAN switch, router, and firewall network and of network services DNS, DHCP, network firewall, and TACACS authentication.
    • Provide after-hours troubleshooting and change implementation. Work on site (Manhattan headquarters and other New York metro locations) 80% of the time.
    • Adhere to established change control, status reporting, escalation procedures.
    • Design secure network and network service solutions solving application hosting and business user requirements.
    • Troubleshoot OSI layer 1-4 issues within network and network services. 

    Required Skills:


    • Proficiency with Cisco IOS LAN switch, router, wireless, and ASA firewall platforms built over at least a two-year period.
    • Proficiency with IPSec VPN, DNS, IP addressing, SolarWinds network management, and TACACS authentication services.
    • Ability to independently plan and prioritize work, document work in the form of status reports and as-builts and request technical or procedural help when needed.
    • Must be able to pass background check. 

    Required Education:


    • Bachelor’s in Computer Science


    Preferred Education:


    • Cisco CCNA Certification
