    TUV Rheinland OpenSky is looking for someone to provide the leadership and domain specialization which will develop and implement the Infrastructure and Cloud strategy including go-to-market approach, support of sales and delivery efforts, and enabling sales results.

    This role will be responsible for leading the deployment of and optimizing of our cloud-based and infrastructure services across North America.  We will look to you to inspire new offerings of secure cloud-based infrastructure services, provide management of cloud-based security and compliance standards, and simultaneously improve the customer experience through your vision and market offerings.  You should have direct experience and effectiveness communicating across different tiers… from technologists to the ‘C’ suite.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee, manage and drive the North American Infrastructure and Cloud Service Portfolio.
    • Develop Cloud Strategy involving Enterprise Architecture, Application Development, and Information Security.
    • Help develop new Cloud offerings based on best practices and current industry need.
    • Directly contribute to the creation of original intellectual property, marketing material, and delivery methodologies.
    • Stay current on the dynamic trending Cloud capabilities to drive continuous improvement of service offering and efficiencies.
    • Drive innovation by incorporating new technologies, tools and ideas to ensure that the Infrastructure and Cloud Service line is evolving to meet the ever-changing client needs.
    • Apply experience and knowledge to support service offerings relating to: architecture, operations, policy, processes, standards, organizational design, governance, change management, quality assurance, enabling technology, and product delivery.
    • Maintain metrics and supporting analytics to measure the service line performance. Preparing and disseminate performance reports to Senior and Executive-level management. Develop external messaging for services across key industries, and support Inbound and Outbound marketing activities
    • Create sales enablement tools and engage the sales teams. Maintain 3-5 strategic customer relationships, as well as a list of referenceable customers by vertical.
    • Be accountable for achieving sales pipeline, order entry, and gross margin targets.
    • Develop delivery enablement tools and engage the delivery teams, assuring quality of service delivery and organizational capability and capacity against market demand.

    Required Skills:

    • Strong verbal & written communication skills
    • Strong critical thinking and group facilitation skills, specifically in large or complex problem settings
    • Enterprise Cloud Subject Matter Expert for near, mid and long-term “Cloud First” technology strategies – both public and private
    • 12+ years of experience in Infrastructure and Cloud
    • 5+ years of experience leading a high performing an Infrastructure or Cloud Services Team
    • Demonstrated ability to attract and develop talent
    • Industry or sector leadership in designing and improving the field of infrastructure and cloud
    • Awareness of industry trends and developments
    • Change agent with ability to drive accountability & outcomes across a diverse landscape
    • Strong business acumen & successful track record in aligning with customers
    • A strong cross-functional team player with ability to lead and coach others in a matrix structure, across time zone and national boundaries
    • Strong computer skills in MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio
    • Process/Methodology knowledge including Lean Engineering, Agile, Scrum, DevOps
    • Experience supporting both Microsoft and Open Source stack – Linux, JBoss, Java, etc.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure Deployments highly preferred

    Required Education:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

    Preferred Education:

    • Azure and AWS Certifications

    Travel Required:

    • Up to 50% travel
